Sohee Park, CEO of SP R&A Co., Ltd., is a distinguished expert in international development project management and serves as an Adjunct Professor at Yonsei University, teaching International Development. With extensive experience in the design, implementation, and evaluation of development projects, Professor Park is a leader in the field of monitoring and evaluation (M&E), specializing in sectors including agriculture, health, education, law, and economic development.
In her role, Dr. Park actively leads and participates in development initiatives, utilizing her expertise to develop robust logical frameworks, implement project activities, and conduct thorough evaluations based on established theories and best practices. Her research and publications, covering topics such as cost-benefit analysis for development projects, EU knowledge-sharing programs, and multilateral assessment analyses, contribute significantly to the field of international development.
Previously, Dr. Park served as a Multilateral Cooperation Officer at the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Headquarters, where she led multi-bi projects with global partners, including the World Food Programme (WFP). She conducted comprehensive monitoring and evaluation of projects such as the UN Millennium Village Project using structured matrices and served as Korea’s Representative to the Multilateral Organizations Performance Assessment Network (MOPAN), contributing to the development of the MOPAN 3.0 assessment tool. Her experience also includes roles with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the WFP Nepal Country Office.
Dr. Park holds a PhD and an MA in International Studies, with a focus on the M&E of development cooperation and international human rights law, respectively.
